ItsNaga

On January 27, our team visited Ivy Park Senior Center to spend a day with the residents and make it truly special. We arrived early in the morning, eager to start our day of activities. We began by setting up tables and chairs for the seniors, ensuring a comfortable and organized space for the day's events. The seniors listened to music as we passed out refreshments for them to enjoy.

We were attentive to the seniors' needs, ensuring they had everything required for a pleasant day. We were always present, ready to assist with any requests, and we made sure to engage in meaningful conversations with the residents. The positive feedback we received reaffirmed our commitment to making a difference in their lives. It was wonderful to know that our work had made their day brighter. Looking ahead, we are excited to continue our mission.

We are already planning our next event and are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of seniors. Whether it’s through organizing fun activities, helping with organization, or simply spending quality time with the residents, we at Senior Connect Corp strive to ensure that every effort we make truly benefits our senior community. We are dedicated to creating a supportive and joyful environment for seniors, and we look forward to many more successful events in the future.

Senior Connect is a nonprofit organization founded by a group of dedicated students. Our primary goal is to support elderly individuals in our communities by promoting longevity and fostering good mental well-being among the valued older population.

Welcome to Senior Connect! This nonprofit was established by Nagatanmayee, Shikhar, Saahil, and Lochan, who are current high school students at Dougherty Valley and Dublin High. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for senior citizens in our communities by promoting longevity and positive mental health. We aim to achieve this through various fundraisers and partnerships with school service clubs and scout organizations. These collaborations allow us to organize multiple events where volunteers visit retirement communities to engage in activities that provide emotional support, companionship, and assistance.

We strongly believe that the well-being of seniors can be significantly improved through the active involvement of young people. By fostering intergenerational relationships, we can help seniors enjoy a better quality of life and alleviate some of the burdens on healthcare systems. Senior Connect is dedicated to creating a vibrant culture for seniors by offering a range of programs and resources that support lifelong growth and engagement. Our goal is to ensure that seniors have access to the support they need to lead fulfilling and healthy lives.
